Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Part-Time Office Administrative Assistant with experience in insurance billing to join our growing team. As an administrative assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our office. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around administrative tasks and supporting our team in providing excellent service to our clients. Experience with billing insurance companies is a significant asset, but on the job training can be provided.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle incoming calls, appointment bookings, emails, and inquiries, providing professional and courteous assistance.
  • Process insurance billing and claims accurately and efficiently.
  • Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for staff members.
  • Assist with preparing and organizing documents, presentations, and reports.
  • Assist with general office tasks, including data entry, filing, and managing paperwork.
  • Maintain and update client records in compliance with company policies.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless workflow and efficient communication.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Office Administrative Assistant with a focus on insurance billing.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance billing procedures and claim submission.
  • Proficiency in using office software, including MS Office (Word, Excel).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well both independently and in a team.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in administrative or billing-related fields will be a plus. Experience with Jane billing and booking software is a plus, but training can be provided.

Working Hours:

This is a part-time contract position, offering 15 hours per week to start, with the potential for up to 30 hours. Specific workdays and hours will be discussed during the interview process.
